Proto build

Got the frame back from powder coat yesterday. Really like the matte clear paint and bead blast finish. Almost sparkles under sun light.

Had a small group of locals stopping in around closing time...beer thirty I suppose. I avoided any beverages and started right in on the build. 44mm headtube reamer/facing. And cleaned out the paragon bb she'll too just to make sure. Nothing beats the sensation of a freshly tapped shell.

I'd say dave Norton did an exceptional job of building the proto. Without a proper frame jig or alignment table. Those will be coming very soon like as rector engineering is assisting with the new tools. Norton is gonna be stoked. A slight redishing of the rear wheel to get everything centered and installation of a fresh sram x1 kit, pike suspension fork and she's ready to rip.
