wed ride
Had an opportunity to ride with my wife and her new Salsa Fargo yesterday, 3 fantastic hours of dirt roads, paved roads, and even a tiny sliver of singletrack on the Teller Loop at Woodside. Is there any better way to spend the middle of the day ?

road ride
Had a great ride today with Bender, Dan, Ridlon and Marlon the human powered moped. 65 miles to stevensville and back and officially the first road ride of spring. It's time to start throwing down some miles with thoughts of the Park City Point 2 Point and the Butte 50 weighing in the back of my mind. 78 miles of singletrack and 14,000 feet of climbing in one event will do that...so i'm turning miles over this year with a coupe of goals in mind. I'd like to finish the P2P in the sub 9 hour range and maybe the Butte in the 5 1/2 hour range. Considering the effort it took to ride 65 today i've got a ways to go before i'll come close.
My legs are tired, my body is tired but goodness sake it sure feels good to be out pedaling some miles. Bring on the sunshine, i'm ready for it. Butte 50 and P2P....bring it.
Same place next sunday too if you've got a goal of your own. 10am

Pacenti TL28 / Hadley
here's a review of the Pacenti TL28 and Hadley wheelbuild that we did for Bike198 a couple months ago : http://bike198.com/review-pacenti-tl28-26er-mountain/
The TL28 rim is offered in 29 inch, 650b, and 26inch options. Wide and light is the theme and certainly convert to tubeless too if that's your cup of tea. Give us a hollar to discuss your next wheelbuild.

road trip to wyo
Fresh off a trip to Wyoming with good pals Shrek and BG.....My first snow bike race at the Togwotee Winter Classic was a grinder to remember and the wintery/blustery conditions certainly kept things interesting. At least for the near 5 hours it took me to complete the 25 mile route. A few tips picked up along the weekend too with all the consummate winter biking professionals that were present, and everyone brought something unique to the table in terms of setup and dress attire...most noteable and important were the lessons learned to keep my water from freezing. Also a huge thank-you to Dave Byers and the fine folks at Fitzgeralds for throwing such a fun event and for being great hosts. Hope to return next year !
