I recently had the opportunity to build up one of the Speedway Cycles Umma rims, at 50mm in width and a bunch lighter in weight than the Surly Large Marge, a wheelset with these rims should give a new quicker, lighter feel to those snow bikes or for the fella looking to add a monster sized tire up front of his mountain bike, which is what our pal Kevin is planning with this wheel. His black sheep titanium hardtail will soon be sporting a 26 X 4.0 Surly Endomorph tire up front, hopefully giving him the suspension he craves.
